STEP 1 – Add an Inbox.
Add Inbox
To receive messages and respond to clients via Telegram, you must first create an inbox. To create an inbox, click the New Inbox button in the inboxes section on the top left. When you click the button, you will be taken to the following page, where you must select the Telegram option, as shown below.

STEP 2 – Create a Telegram bot
Bot Token Required
By selecting the Telegram option, you will be directed to this page. To link Chatwoot to Telegram, you must first create a new Telegram bot with Telegram BotFather and obtain the API keys.
Follow the steps outlined below to obtain the API keys from BotFather
- Search for BotFather on Telegram and ensure to pick the verified one to avoid any trouble as shown below

- Type /start and send to get the documentation on how to create a bot
Start process
- Create a new bot by typing /newbot

- Give the bot a name

- Proceed to give the bot a username as per the instructions

- You will then receive the HTTP API Token we Require

- Copy the Token and paste it on the Tuskeechat
Paste and click create Channel
STEP 3 – Add Agents
When you authorize with a Telegram token, you will be directed to this page for adding agents. You may include yourself or an agent. To add a new agent, go to the Agents tab on the top right and click the Add New Agent button. Have that agent in your inbox once you’ve added them.
